As Head Gardener at Dulwich Park I have had the opportunity over the past 4 years to observe the tree surgical talents of Hamish Lodge, Cut Above Tree Management. Hamish has always impressed me with his arbouricultural skills being very efficient, careful and accurate when tree felling, not damaging surrounding plants or structures whilst ensuring public safety. For these reasons I choose him for my private jobs too.
On a more personal level, he is a friendly positive person who always seems to be enjoying his work. No doubt this attitude will serve him well in his professional life. I’d like to take this opportunity to wish Hamish well and look forward to seeing more of his work in the future.

We often request him to carry out emergency works which are dangerous as he has the skill base and also the site safety to deal with this type of work. We write to thank you for the arboricultural work carried out to the above trees. The result is a considerable improvement in their appearance and extra light for the facing houses, i.e. natural light and also artificial light from the (previously obscured) street lamps on the Thames path. The site was kept secure, cleared of cut branches etc and swept up and left tidy. Special thanks go to Hamish and Andy the tree surgeons deployed on the day.

The good Hamish Lodge, who was recommended to me by a neighbour, has just this morning got rid of the ugly great conifer, and a dead cherry tree, leaving me with one good cherry tree. Good and neat work and reasonable price, so I can recommend him to others.
