Cut Above Tree Management is a locally based, family-run business based in South London. We are an experienced and professional tree surgery team, competent in all aspects of tree management. Our aim is to provide a skilled, friendly and affordable service. Cut Above work predominantly in Southwark and Lewisham for private clients.

Hamish Lodge, the manager and principal tree surgeon at Cut Above Tree Management has operated as a tree surgeon in South London since 2002. He is a fully trained and qualified tree surgeon. Hamish makes it his priority to ensure that every customer is happy with the service. He has trained his entire team to be fully comprehensive, efficient and professional in all areas of tree work. We pride ourselves on our knowledge and experience in the industry, and will always be available to offer advice and guidance.
Cut Above Tree Management has sub-contracted for Southwark Council for 5 years. We have a great skill base, from dealing with large trees, conservation areas, tree preservation orders, subsidence issues to emergency call outs. We also do tree carving and are always looking for new challenges.
At Cut Above Tree Management we pride ourselves in delivering a friendly yet very professional service. Our tree arborists are fully insured and are able to give our service to all commercial and domestic customers that require our expertise.
We normally work 5 days a week, doing site visits and estimates in the evening or over the weekend.

We care about health and safety
It is Cut Above Tree Management’s intention to provide a safe and healthy working environment in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999, and all other associated legislation which remain effective and relevant. Staff are fully trained and will wear full Personal Protective Equipment and all equipment and machinery is fully maintained and checked regularly.

We recognise the need for method statements, risk assessments and general working guides to reflect practical and efficient practices in the work place. We update practices and equipment when required to keep in line with recent recommendations.
